BodyGuard® i-Tag pedestrian detection and warning systems uses our latest Enhanced Detection Technology(EDT™)
to significantly reduce risk of collision between moving vehicles and pedestrians in the workplace. The system helps
minimize risk factors due to driver inattention, poor visibility and worker non-compliance with exclusion areas.
BodyGuard® i-Tag enables you to create a safer work environment as well as promoting improved staff behavior and
attitudes toward safety. The BodyGuard® system establishes an adjustable safety exclusion area around your vehicles.
When someone is detected within this exclusion area an audible alarm and high intensity visual warning alerts the driver
to the danger and gives them opportunity to avoid an incident. The BodyGuard® alarm stands out clearly above the
background of reversing beepers that can often be ignored because of complacency.
Complies with Aramco Schedule requirements (including weekly and monthly reports)
Effectively lowers risk of collision between moving vehicles and pedestrians
No false alarms
Event data logging with Software for detection trend and system performance for weekly and monthly reporting
Magnetic mounting provides simple installation and setup. The system mounts in minutes. NO vehicle modifications
Clear audible and visual alert to positively identify risk, does not blend into background beeping of workplace
Adjustable safety exclusion zone radius (maximum range programmable from approximately 2.5m to around 10m)
Detects through solid objects without significant reduction of the safety exclusion zone distance
Not dependent on Tag orientation, person can be detected even if fallen on ground or with back to vehicle
360 degree safety exclusion zone around sensor unit
Robust construction and performance for industrial workplace applications (Construction, Logistics and mining)
Mute button to allow operator to talk with pedestrians.

SAFETY SOLUTIONS Tag-Based Pedestrian Proximity Warning System
Sensors detect Tags within the safety exclusion zone. The detection radius from Tag to Sensor is adjustable from 2.5m
to 10m radius. The sensors connect to Cab Unit using supplied cable.
The Cab Alert unit provides Audible and visual warnings to the driver when a worker is detected within the safety
exclusion zone.
Tags are small, light-weight devices worn by workers that are detected by Sensors. The standard Tag is supplied with
a lanyard for convenience. The tag can also be placed in a pocket or attached to a hard-hat as required.

2. Lock out driver Tag. This function prevents the driver’s Tag from activating their own system while the driver
is on board the vehicle. To lock out the driver Tag, the driver holds the “Mute” button for more than 3 seconds
while and alarm is active. The alarm will thereafter not respond to this Tag. The Tag is automatically “unlocked”
when the vehicle is switched off. NOTE: This function is designed for short term use. The Tag battery will be consumed much faster
when being locked out. Consider using the Driver Tag Deactivation Pouch for continual use.
The Tag activates the Cab Alert warning when it is detected within the safety exclusion zone around the vehicle.
The Standard Tag is powered by a low-cost Calculator battery (replaceable within a couple of minutes). Battery life is
typically 9 to 12 months. The battery consumption depends on the number of times per day and length of time the
Tag is within a safety exclusion zone. The alarm is only activated when a pedestrian breaches the safety exclusion zone
and therefore Tags should not be in the zone very often (resulting in longest expected battery life).
A “Tag Test Station” can be used to validate Tags and indicate when Tag fails or battery is getting low or a schedule
can be set up to replace Tag Batteries at fixed intervals before expected expiry.

The i-Tag Test Station validates correct function of pedestrian Tags. The system is compatible with all models of
Pedestrian Tag. The Station has a control/display unit that has a 5” colour touch screen display, Pass (Green) and Fail
(Red) indicator lamps and a Buzzer and a i-Tag Sensor unit for detection of Tags.
The sensor is supplied pre-set to the minimum distance (approx. 2.5m). The unit is typically located where staff can
walk past the station on the way to the work area. The station will detect the Tag as the pedestrian walks past. The Tag
test tags around 0.5 seconds.
Sites can have multiple Test Stations to suit work area layout and worker entry/exit points.
A safety process should be put in place to ensure workers do not enter the work site if Tag battery is low or Tag is not
functioning. If the Data Management system option has been installed, the Test Station retains the last 5000 events in
a history data log. This log will be available for analysis and report generation (refer to Data Management System details later in
this document).

The Data Management consists of Data Logging enabled systems, Data Collection devices and Analysis/Reporting
Software.
Data Collection Device: Android smart devices collect data remotely from vehicles and test stations (up to 200m
range). Data collected from vehicles and test stations is transferred to your Computer for Analysis and reporting.
Analysis/Reporting Software: This software is installed on a Windows-based computer. This software is used
to view the performance of the system and produce weekly and monthly reports.
The system provides reports that can be printed or exported in a wide number of formats (pdf, Excel, Rich Text, HTML,
email etc). Analysis can be performed by Tag (a single, group or all tags), by Vehicle (a single, group or all vehicles),
Work area, Data Collector and over user defined and fixed date ranges.
Data is presented in raw spreadsheet style, filtered data, summary tables and graphs. By identifying staff or vehicles
that exhibit higher or lower risk, a human management safety strategy can be put into place to train staff that are working
at higher risk, discipline repeat offenders, reward safe operators and change high risk work flows or site layouts. The
Data Management system fulfils requirements for reporting and trend analysis for Aramco and other regulatory bodies.
The software also enables multiple custom “work areas” to be defined. Tags and Vehicles can be allocated to specific
“Groups” and analysis can be performed by Group as well as by Tag, Vehicle or Data Collection Device. For example:
Trend Analysis for “Lay Down area”, “Fabrication” or “Concrete works” etc.

The Vehicle CCTV system enables up to 4 cameras (front, rear or sides) to be fitted to a vehicle to assist the driver with
awareness of other objects nearby. The 7” Color monitor can display 1 2 or 4 camera views at one time. All heavy-duty
cameras are equipped with Infra-Red illumination that enables objects to be seen in complete darkness.
