• boat
(n) A small vehicle for travelling on
water.

• country
(n) An area of land that has its own
government, army, etc.
• farm
(n) an area of land, together with a
house and buildings, used for
growing crops and/or keeping
animals such as a business.

• plane
(n) a vehicle designed for air travel,
with wings and one or more
engines.
• ranch
(n) a very large farm on which
animals are kept, especially in
North and South America.

• to arrive
(v) to reach a place, especially at
the end of a journey.
• to buy
(v-irregular) to get something by
paying money for it.

• to check in
(v) to show your ticket at an airport
so that you can be told where you
will be sitting and so that your bags
can be put on the aircraft.
• to fly
(v-irregular) When a bird, insect, or
aircraft flies, it moves through the
air.

• to leave
(v-irregular) to go away from
someone or something, for a short
time or permanently.
• to stay
(v) to not move away from or leave
a place or situation.

• to travel
(v) to make a journey, usually over
a long distance.
• town
(n) a place where people live and
work, containing many houses,
shops, places of work, places of
entertainment, etc. and usually larger
than a village but smaller than a city.
