Summary about the podcast:

Brazil is the number one country in daily deaths of covid-19 and the epicenter is the state of
Sao Pablo, therefore it is the main focus of the pandemic in the whole world. In Brazil there
are people who don’t believe in coronavirus as an issue and the lack of isolation is one of
the reasons why cases increase. In this country there are 850.000 cases of covid-19 and
every time the deaths increase considerably. Despite this, the government decided to reopen
the commercial sectors and churches. People have died, people have lost their job, many
indigenes communities have been affected and the areas where they live are far from
hospitals, so they have less access to health resources. Brazil was one of the last countries
to impose preventive isolation and this was due to the president Jair Bolsonaro is a very
religious man and he doesn’t believe in science.
