JUNIORS’ PROMENADE

“Some moments are nice, some are nicer and some are even worth remembering for.”

To the supportive administrator, dynamic faculty and staff, to the students who look so dashing and
gorgeous tonight, ladies and gentlemen, a pleasant evening! It is my honor to join you in tonight’s affair.
The quotation that I have stated will lead to the tagline of this generation of millennials like #OOTD,
#Anighttoremember, #Prom2k19, well it has been, I think posted in your social media accounts as fast as
the event has not yet started.
A promenade is for everyone especially to you, dear students to enjoy for this would be something
to treasure and be shared when you become old. This is also the time that you are going to dance with your
partners, the ever famous cotillion dance, and most especially your first dance.
This very special moment reminds me of my experience when I was in high school. Excited with
everything na maski 3pm pa kay nag pasugod nako ug pa make-up. I couldn’t help myself of what I should
wear, how should I look, and who will dance with me in that very memorable night. All of these lovely ladies
are princesses and these fine young men are princes, yet we could also dreaming to dance with our king
like what the fairy tales do #hart hart but some will be snapped into realization na yung crush nya ay may
crush na iba o yung crush mo ay crush din pala ng kaibigan mo at yan din mauuwi ang #hurt hurt.
Students, this event is not solely for your own agenda of your crush, boyfies and girlfriends. It is not
also just a night for hearts and for the lovers. It is not just a night of glitz and glamour. It is a night for all of
you and on a serious note it is for the formal turn-over of responsibilities as some of grade 10 students will
leave the portals of Sto Nino after the moving up mag # dayun ug goodbye.
For grade 10 students, you will soon leave this institution and will go on to the next step of
educational journey. Grade 9, shall take over whatever responsibilities they have left as a part of your
maturity. You will also face hardships and you may encounter in your journey towards the realization of
your goals and as part of your training to fight for you will never ever win a battle without a fight and you will
never be able to cross an ocean without sailing.
