cycle (SLDC) is undergoing to numerous changes but still stays the same a steadfast and reliable
approach to software development. Also there are some debate as of to the appropriate number of
steps, but nonetheless it is a tried and tested methodology and stood test of time. The researcher
also has given a scenario how the system development life cycle (SLDC) can be implemented
during the twenty first century, even SLDC method is one of the oldest and yet still widely used
methods of software development and acquisition method in the information technology arena.

INTERPRETATION:
Because of the ever-changing scenario and needs of the IT world pertaining to
the building or acquiring of software, the author provided a perfect example how the IT
professionals used different methodology on how to create or acquire a new software but they are
still using the core principle of the SLDC, not only methodology is important but also the SAD or
system analysis because it is taking place in a cycle that continues to be pervasive and true.
For me as a faculty of a state university. I can see the that this research is very
important , because it is well stated and explained that in order to have a complex software that
can cater all the needs of the client, you should focus on the other needs of the client, even the
support and the training needed before and during the implementation of the software.
