Master Data Administrator
Responsibilities
Preparing documentation outlining & detailing the processes and techniques used within the team.
Completing Service requests and responding to emails relating to master data issues within SLA
timelines. This includes sensitive data such as bank and address details of vendors contracted by
Cambridge Assessment.
Liaising with members of the business units in regards to the resolutions and changes to master
data.
Key Achievements
Leading sprints 7 & 9 of the Data Quality Management project. Understanding the SAP Data
Services framework and learning to write code for the rules and maintain the analyses and
dashboards.
Organised the teams stall at the recent business showcase event. Prepared posters, a presentation
and demonstration whilst engaging the team to make sure that everything ran smoothly on the day.
Networked with business colleagues & other business teams, identifying areas for collaboration.
Extract, Cleanse, Transform and assist in the upload and subsequent validation of legacy master
data into the SAP system.
Direct Superuser activities and upskilling during the implementation of SAP. Acting as a first point of
contact for information on the solution, how it might affect processes and to assist users in solving or
root causing problems.
Key Achievements
Led and supported over 40 hours of training sessions in the run up to SAP implementation. Worked
with consultants to prepare materials & deliver the sessions.
Successful implementation of the SAP solution to Johnson Matthey Royston. Received a special
contribution award from the Plant Manager and Quality Manager.
Assist Customer Service and Transport departments in managing supply chain issues while ensuring
risk to our customers is minimized. Collaborating with various departments in the business to resolve
quality problems and drive improvements.
Key Achievements
Participated in a project to reduce in process testing for a subset of products. Annually, this saved
£4000 worth of precious metal testing standards used to calibrate the equipment prior to testing.
