Vacancy – Senior Quality & Risk Administrator

KPMG invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the
position of Senior Quality & Risk Administrator based in Harare.
Qualifications/Experience/Competencies
• Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field – Risk, Quality/Commerce/Accounting.
• Studying towards professional qualifications/Post Grad (LLB/Risk Management)
• 3-5 years’ experience in Risk and Quality management in an audit firm or related field
would be an added advantage
• Ability to work with and oversee a team of professionals in a diversified culture.
• Ability to pay attention to detail and work with minimum supervision
• Good report writing and presentation skills
• Strong time-management and able to multi-task and work under pressure
Responsibilities/Duties
• To assist in implementation and monitoring compliance with KPMG global and local
quality and risk management policies and procedures in the firm.
• To assist on identifying, managing, mitigating, monitoring and reporting on risk and
quality issues arising in the firm.
• Assists in identifying, communicating and recommending steps to mitigate emerging
risks to the firm.
• Assists in facilitating the understanding of and compliance with applicable laws,
regulations, and professional standards.
• Assists in monitoring Client and Engagement Acceptance and Continuance
evaluations.
• Assists with the review of standard engagement contracts for each type of service
offered by the firm.
• Assists in determining firm’s procedures in relation to bribery and corruption, gifts and
entertainment, Internal firm controls in relation to supplier organizations, financial
controls, training and donations.
• Assists with the process for internal reporting of breaches of law, regulation or KPMG
policy.
• Assists in the deployment of mandatory Quality and Risk Management training and
monitoring completion by the given due date.
• Filing and keeping of Quality and risk Documents
