 There is always an involvement of Mathematics in our daily lives. Mathematics runs our gadgets, appliances and
even on making buildings there is math. For a student like me, there is also mathematics in what I do such as on my daily
allowance as I go to school I have to budget my money in order for me to survive for the day and this is part of mathematics in
finance which is one of the topic on the subject. It’s part of that topic because it involves tax. When I buy food at the supermarket
there is always a value added tax on it. I’ve also encountered interest because we have a small eatery and my mom borrowed
money from our relative and they have talked about the interest as my mom would pay back that money. There is also an
involvement of Mathematics as I look around the surroundings. There are patterns that I can see such as in the leaves of a plant or
even the shapes of the things that surrounds me such as the mirror in our house or even the coin in my pocket. At first I thought
that I had to learn Mathematics because of school but as I’ve become mature I also realized that all of the technologies today
involves Mathematics.
