“OFFERING HELP”
SCENE 1

In the middle of the night, a mother and her child were patiently
standing on the sidewalk waiting for a taxi after attending a family
gathering.

SCENE 2

Then, a taxi appeared from the south. They stopped it and got in excitedly,
without knowing there was a danger waiting for them. Suddenly, they were
seized by two men from the trunk using the culprit’s jacket. They felt like
the kidnapper was pointing the gun at them, but they couldn’t see because
they were blindfolded. As the kidnapper drove, the others motioned them to
drink some water, but they just kept shaking their head. They couldn’t do
anything, their heads were hazy and then they were unconsciously put to
sleep for some time.

Afterwards...

SCENE 3

Child
“Mom, wake up!”

Mom
“Wait..what...Where are we? What just happened?”
(murmuring)

Child
“We’ve just been robbed, mom!”

Mom
“Oh god, why?"
 “How are you feeling?”
“AIN’T NO WAY!”

Child
“My head is aching a bit, mom”
“What should we do, mom? There was nobody around to help us. We can’t
go home if we don’t have any money..
Uh..oh.. Should we call 911?”

Mom
“Oh, yes we should call them.”
“Oh my god.. Where’s my phone? It should be in my pocket.. Oh, they
must've taken our phones too.”

[They leaned on the ground]

SCENE 4

Helper 1
“Hey, look, there! Should we give 'em a hand?”

Helper 2
“Wait what? Are they ghosts? Why are they even lying on the street?”
“Well I don’t think we should help them, they look...suspicious to me”
"Moreover it's late at night now, we have to look from the security aspect,
how if they were just a thief and …”.

*Helper 1 immediately cut off the conversation*

Helper 1
“Heyy, don’t be mean, What if they need our help? We just have to be more
cautious.”

SCENE 5
[The car stopped on the side of the road]
 “I’m sorry, are you ok?.. What happened, ma’am?”

Mom
“We were in danger… ”
“Oh God, it was awful”
“We’ve just been robbed on a taxi, they took everything from us”
“We would have gone crazy here on our own”

Child
*sob T.T TT-TT :(((*
“Please help us:(”

Helper 1
“Do you want us to take you to the police station nearby?”

Mom
“Thank you so much. That would be so helpful”

SCENE 6
“Excuse me.”
*get in the car*

Helper 2
“Okay, I need to know the details. Do you mind telling us how it
happened?”

Mom
“Well-”

Child
“So mommy and I were going to go home by taxi. But when we got in,
The evil man covered our mouth so we can’t scream, and then ummm we
passed out. The next thing I know is that we were on the road. It was so
scary..“
SCENE 7
After they arrived..

Police Officer
“How can I help you mam?”

Mom
“We’ve been robbed, sir”

Police Officer
"I'm very sorry to hear that.. we'll do our best to put these criminals in
custody"
“Could you elaborate the scene of the crime, when exactly did this
happen ? Do you remember the details of the vehicle?”

Mom
“So it went like….blablabla”
SCENE 8

Narrator
"After all the informations collected, the police officer left briefly and then
returned to inform the progress of the case”

Police Officer
"Excuse me, ma'am. Here is our report regarding this case. We are
sweeping a 15km radius from the scene of the crime. We are sure that they
haven't gone much further than that"

Mom
"Oh, thank you, thank you.."

Child
"Officer, can I help? I want to become a policeman like you one day!"
 Police Officer
"Hahaha, of course you can help, kid! You can help us by going home with
your mother, have some rest, and have a lookout from there!"

Child
"But.. officer, we can't go home.."

Mom
"I'm afraid that's true, officer. Since all our money has been stolen, and our
phones, we can't go anywhere. What if there are more thiefs lurking in the
night?"

● Police Officer
"Ah, then no worries! I can drive you two home, safe and sound!"

Mom
"U-um.. are you sure, officer? it's quite late already, and to be honest,
you've helped us a lot. We don't want to cause any more trouble.."

Police Officer
"Hahaha, not at all! It's my duty to serve and protect, so you two are under
my watch. Come on, kid! We'll ride the police car!"

Child
"Yaaaaaayy! Police car! Mom, can we, please? pleeaseee?"

Mom
"Well, alright then. But again, I must say thank you, officer. You've done us
a great service"

Police Officer
"No problem!"
SCENE 9
 Narrator
"And they headed off home. The child was excited to ride a police car, and
the mother felt glad, and relieved."

Police Officer
“All right, here we are. Rest assured ma'am, we’ll take care of this issue.
We'll do our very best to capture these scums as soon as possible”
“Now, take a good night sleep, both of you. I'm sure it's been a tiring night”

Mom
“Okay, sir, we are so grateful by your help! Please, if you have any spare
time, come to our house for dinner! We'd be glad to have you."

Police Officer
"Roger that, I'll keep that in my schedule. Thank you, ma'am. Now go
home, have some rest. I'll see you soon, when the criminals are captured.
Good evening!"

Child
"Bye-bye Mr. Police Officer!"
