1. What is the communicative purpose of the text?
The purpose of the text is to instruct the readers on how to use a digital camera before
taking any photographs through a sequence of steps.
2. Mention the generic structure of the text!
 Title
The title of the video is “HOW TO USE A DIGITAL CAMERA”.
 Goal
The goal of the video is to give a simple step to use a digital camera.
 List of materials
The list of materials are digital camera, storage device, patience, and instruction manual.

In the video, there are time sequencers like first, second, and third. They make each step
turn into an instruction.
3. What are the materials needed?
The materials needed are digital camera, storage device, patience, and instruction manual.
4. What is a megapixel?
Megapixel refers to the resolution of the image the camera takes or the dots that make up
the quality of the image. The larger the number of the megapixels, the higher the quality.
5. Why should we adjust the quality setting?
We should adjust the quality settings of the camera to higher quality. The higher quality of
settings will make the better picture and more space each pixel will take up on the storage
card.
6. What is the difference between optical and digital zoom?

There are 8 tips in the text. One is a tip which should be avoided. The others are the tips
that we have to do.
2. What things work and what things do not work according to the text?

4. What does “tweaks” mean? Does it have the same meaning with “tips”? Explain.
There is the similarity between them. tweak as noun means a slight change to something,
especially in order to make it more correct, effective, or suitable. Tips as noun means a
useful piece of information, especially about how to do something. Both tweaks and tips
have same purpose to make a change or to improve something. In the text, tips and
tweaks are used for improving the android performance.
5. What device are the tips and tweaks for?
The tips and tweaks in the text are for phone. But, they are not just for phone. We can
find them on every operation system on computer, laptop, phone, etc.
6. What operating system are the tips and tweaks for?
Based on the text, the tips and tweaks are for android operation system. But, it is not just
for android, we ca find it on windows, Linux, etc.
