Transfer Goals
The students in the long run and on their own will be able to apply the characteristics of the different aspects of
poetry , its role in the context of creative writing and in English literature as a way to build connections in the
society as inscribed in one of God’s teachings.
Enduring Understanding
Student will understand that producing poems and other literary texts can be an effective tool in disseminating
God’s teachings as this should be the primary lesson that we, Christians, must learn to understand and practice in
our everyday life.

1. How does Poetry help me in developing trust and confidence for myself?
2. In what way can Poetry help me connect myself to the world?
3. Why do we need to study and understand poetry?

Understanding Creative Writing
Motivation:
The teacher will present pictures showing imagination and creativity in front. By this, the students will be asked by
the following questions.

1. What have you observed in the pictures?

Activities:
Collaborative Work
Taking off from the premise of the “word”, the students must immerse their selves in a constructed reality of a world
without worlds. Some guide questions will be provided to guide them with this idea: What would it be like? What
form of communication would arise? In groups, the students must write a paragraph on this imagined situation and
they have to compare their answers with their classmates.

 The teacher will further introduce the subject and orient the students on what are the possible things they
will do throughout the whole semester

Broadening of Concept (Asking of leading, exploring, connecting and essential questions and drawing out of the EU
from the students)

2. How important is being imaginative and creative in starting creative writing?

In a ½ crosswise sheet of paper, the students will be going to cite the importance of creative non-fiction in
their life as students.

V. Purposive Assignment
The students must choose one fictional story from the internet and relate the events to the real-world
setting. They must explain clearly the scenes and find the significant human experience from the text.
