Transfer Goal/s:
The students in the long run and on their own are able to demonstrate the proper way of
preparing table service as we are reminded of the Last Supper of Christ with his disciples.
Essential Understanding:

Why do we need to perform the different table services?
I. PRELIMINARIES
Review: What are the proper ways of welcoming guests?
Focus: Glassware, Service ware, and Cutlery Suitable to Menu Choices
Motivation or Activating Prior Knowledge: Short video clip in preparing table services.
II. LESSON DEVELOPMENT
A. Presentation of Concepts
KNOWLEDGE:
The students will know the:
- Several types of table service.
- Definition of each table services.
SKILLS:
The students are able to:
- Set tables in accordance to its standard
Activities
- The teacher will show a short video clip in preparing table services.
- After the short video clip, the teacher will state the objectives for the class.
- After presenting the new concept, students will able to fully understand the discussion.
- At the end of the discussion, the teacher will conduct a formative test to fully assess the
learning of the students.
B. Broadening of Concept
How will you able to distinguish the different table services?
C. Integration :
 Ignacian Core/ Related Values: Integrating the value Discipline. Does preparing the
table services at your home is against your ego?

The students will individually perform the different type’s table services.

Research about the things need to follow in clearing the table.

- After presenting the new concept, students will able to fully understand the discussion.
- At the end of the discussion, the teacher will conduct a formative test to fully assess the
learning of the students.

not properly wash?

Any food that could be eaten but has water on it from such a pot is unclean, and nay
liquid that could be drunk from its unclean.
