Introduction

One way of developing the skills of the students is by undergoing On-the-Job training.
Students who undergo On-the-Job training are able to apply the knowledge they have
learn from school. On-the-Job training helps a lot in enhancing and enriching the skills
and knowledge of the students. On-the-Job training is also one way of preparing the
students in the real world after schooling. On-the-Job training is not only in enhancing
and enriching the skills and knowledge of a student but it also shows the reality about
working or real world. On-the-Job training mold the students to be responsible to their
assigned work which can help them in their future career or job. On-the-Job training is
one way of developing their sense of responsibility upon the given task of the supervisor
and the rest of the staff. It is also an opportunity to develop their skills for their future
career or job. Students has the opportunity to develop attitudes, skills and
understanding which is necessary in their chosen field of work. On-the-Job training
provides the opportunity in promoting worthy values and developing strong moral
character among other people in the community. On-the-Job training provide
background on what really going in the field of work. It also one of the factors that is
helpful to the students in developing the knowledge they've learn at school. The
development of the students who undergo On-the-Job training can be measure through
the accomplishment or work done during the given period of time. And also it can be
measured through performing duties and responsibilities obediently and diligently. On-
the-Job training will serves as the training ground of the students. It is the responsibility
of the supervisors and managers to utilize available resources to train and develop the
knowledge and skills of the students. On-the-Job training is one of the best training
methods because it is planned, organized and conducted at the proper worksite. OJT is
the most common or primary method used in developing skills and increasing students
productivity.
