COVID-19 is perhaps the greatest humanitarian crisis of our time. For my friends and
loved ones who have been affected by the pandemic, especially those in Italy, China,
and here in the States, you are all in my prayers.

I am incredibly fortunate to be able to work and socially distance from home, but even
so, this pandemic has deprived me of two of my greatest joys – live performances and
traveling. Today, through the music of some great eighteenth and nineteenth century
masters, I hope to virtually share a journey with you as we travel through some of my
favorite places – from the elegant streets of Paris and the bustling marketplace of
Leipzig, to the serene countryside of Wales and the lavish court of Mantua.

I hope that, before long, we will see each other in person once again. Until then, be well!

Pianist Allen Wong Yu is an acclaimed performer, recognized for his mature

musicianship, elegant tone, and charismatic stage presence. Since his debut on the solo
stage at age twelve and his critically acclaimed appearance as a soloist with the
Schenectady Symphony a year later, his musical journey has taken him to major venues
across the country, including two appearances on National Public Radio’s From the Top,
where he performed as a Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist.

Allen graduated cum laude from Bowdoin College with an AB in Government & Legal
Studies and Music, where he studied with pianist George Lopez. At Bowdoin, he was a
Sarah & James Bowdoin Scholar, the recipient of the Sue Winchell Burnett prize for ALLEN
