BigLeap 2020 is an online event exclusively for aspiring

Indian entrepreneurs. It is an invitation to the dynamic
and innovative minds who believe in being agents of
change. BigLeap 2020 is a platform not only to showcase
ideas and business potential but to foster the
entrepreneurial ecosystem in India. BigLeap aims to help
aspiring youth in following manner:

• Provide exposure to real-world opportunities and help in

learning what is needed to successfully launch your new
venture

• Getting business plans evaluated/judged by highly

accomplished personalities

• Provide mentoring from experienced entrepreneurs,

industry experts and investors

• Provide networking opportunities with potential angel

investors, venture capitalists and private equity investors

• Provide opportunities for participation in Government

schemes that promote entrepreneurship and new
ventures

 Evaluation

1. Phase 1: Preliminary Evaluation — All the applications

will be evaluated based on their ideas and business
model, which must be submitted online at
www.BigLeap2020.in. Shortlisted participants will be
communicated by email about the next steps.

2. Phase 2: Final Pitch Day — Within 10 days of written

intimation, the shortlisted applicants need to present
their pitch deck in a format that would be provided to
them. All the shortlisted participants will present the
relevant financial data, proof of concept (PoC) results/
experience, testimonials, etc. to the distinguished
panelists. This phase will be conducted over an online
platform.

3. Phase 3: Winner Announcement — Winners will be

announced after due deliberations by the judges. The
winning candidate shall be awarded prize worth Rs.1.0
Million* (Rupees One Million only). Selected top five
business ideas will also be supported with appropriate
connections in order to secure seed funding and
incubation support. The decision of the judges will be
final and no correspondence with the participants will
be entered into.

1. Indian residents with work based in India.

2. Individuals or groups who have an idea and a
business plan but yet to start their business
3. Entrepreneurs who have started their
business recently or are in pilot phase of
their business idea.
4. Entrepreneurs who have current running
business and intend to scale it up. The
business of such participants must not be
more than 5-years old.

innovative and invaluable for the participants. This demands a
process that is transparent and trustworthy. BigLeap2020
pays great attention to have a process that is fair and open.
