National Residence Hall Honorary


Recognizing Leaders Since 1984

NRHH is an honor society for the Top 1% of leaders in the residential community as governed by the
National Affiliate of Colleges and University Residence Halls (NACURH). NRHH membership, which
cannot exceed 66 members at any given time, grants honors to students excelling in scholarship,
leadership, and community service. NRHH selects new members through a stringent application and
interview process each fall and spring.

The primary purpose of NRHH is to recognize various leaders, communities,


organizations, programs, and other aspects of the university campus. NRHH reviews
and selects Of-The-Month Awards for the campus wide winners. Additionally, NRHH
sponsors and plans many social and philanthropy events throughout the year.

Membership Requirements
Currently living in USC university housing
Minimum 3.35 cumulative GPA (if your GPA is less Application Due:

At least one semester at USC
An active leader in residential community
Must attend at least 50% of all NRHH activities per email completed application to nrhh@usc.edu

accepted) drop off application at Sunit Rohant’s box in STU 200
Must pay first semester membership dues of $35 (if or
accepted) fill out the online application at uscnrhh.org

Please include the following in about 250 words each:


1. Describe a time you took on responsibilities that were beyond your requirements.
2. Recall a time you recognized someone for any achievements or contributions.
3. How do you exemplify each of NRHH’s four pillars: Scholarship, Leadership, Recognition, Service?
4. Why do you want to be an active member of NRHH?
5. How did you hear about NRHH?

Finally, go to uscnrhh.org and fill out an OTM recognizing a fellow Trojan (optional).
*Note: You must be free on April 8th if you are accepted into NRHH.
