● Lead a group of high school students to design and build a 6-pole DC motor capable of generating a usable
amount of power by educating students about the basics of motors, physics, and mechanical and electrical design.

● Collaborate with a team of peers to design an innovative semi-autonomous rover to compete in the annual
University Rover Challenge.
● Design and fabricate the layout of the printed circuit board (PCB) in Eagle and write the microcontroller code in
C for various sensor, power, and logic boards for rovers.
● Wire the electrical components of the rover and help with testing for competition.
● Communicate with other subteams to determine the design requirements of electrical components.
Summer Biomedical Electronics Experience, Dallas, TX, Assistant Instructor Jun. 2018-Oct. 2019
● Instructed 40 high school students in the mechanical, hardware, and software design and fabrication of a 3D
printed prosthetic hand, circuit, and Arduino code responsive to sensors and electromyography.
● Designed and fabricated the PCB to control the prosthetic hand, servos, and signals.
● Designed an Arduino compatible microcontroller development board that adheres to IEC 60601 standards.
