MY EXPERIENCE LEARNING ENGLISH

For many people it is important to know English since it is a language

that is spoken in most countries around the world. However, for me it was not
too important as others consider it. Before I started to study at ICPNA, I thought
that English was boring and not necessary for my life. But my point of view
changed since I came to ICPNA to learn English. In the next lines I want to tell
you my wonderful experience learning English because of the teachers and my
friends.
At the beginning, as I said, I did not like English because at my school I
did not understand anything to the English teacher. As a result, I always said
that I hate English, but my parents wanted to me to study English. One day
when I got back to my home my mother told me without any introduction, in a
serious way, that the next day I had to go to ICPNA to study English. I was in
shock, but I could not reject it because it was already done. Since the first day I
went to ICPNA I changed my opinion about English; I notice that it was not too
bad as I thought. Well my first month I learned many things and I started to like
English because at school I was tired; at ICPNA I felt relaxed.
I continue studying and meeting new people especially new teachers. I
am very thankful with them since I learned interesting things that nowadays help
me in many ways such as to talk with people from other countries, read English
magazines about my favorite actors and singers, understand English movies,
and enjoy many other hobbies I have. For instance, I have met new friends from
the United States and Canada by internet, the ones with whom I practice my
English. In addition, the teachers always gave a hand when I did not understand
some issues. By making jokes at classes they changed boring issues in funny
ones that were easy to understand.
The other reason why I am glad of studying at ICPNA is the friends that I
met there. For example, I met two of my best friends who are Elizabeth and
Zulema. Since I began to study at ICPNA I met many friends but when I was
studying Intermediate six I met Elizabeth and Zulema, my best friends. They
always help me when I am in trouble. Also they are the ones whit whom I like to
practice English and even more with Elizabeth because she is in Canada and
she is learning English perfectly. At ICPNA I met really people person with
whom I like to share my time.
Besides that, studying English was a nice experience since basic one
until the last course of advanced. I can say that everything was wonderful until
intermediate six when the courses started to be little more difficult. Because of
that I did not continue looking my English classes as a time to relax, I had to
study more and pay special attention to the classes. However, I continue
studying and enjoying the time I spent with friends at ICPNA. It was a great time
even though the advance courses were little difficult.
In conclusion, I learned many interesting things at ICPNA and nowadays
I can say that I am thankful with my teachers since they had enough patient to
teach us. Not only because I learned but also because I met new friends, it is
why I like my English classes at ICPNA.
