• DK Yarn in colours of choice
• 3.5mm Crochet Hook
• Embroidery Needle and scissors
• Stitch markers

-ABBREVIATIONS-
• Magic Loop (I chain two and crochet into first loop to create ring).
• CH – Chain.
• ST – Stitch.
• SL ST – Slip Stitch.
• SK ST – Skip Stitch.
• SC – Single Crochet.
• HDC – Half Double Crochet.
• DC – Double Crochet.
• HTR – Half Treble Crochet.
• TR – Treble Crochet.
• DTR – Double Treble.
• SC2TOG – Single Crochet 2 together.
• HDC2TOG – Half Double Crochet 2 together.
• DC3TOG – Double Crochet 3 together.
• FP – Front Post.
• FPTRC – Front Post Treble Crochet.
• FPDTRC - Front Post Double Treble Crochet.
• FO- Fasten off.
• JOIN and FO – Slip Stitch into the next Chain to Join, Chain One and Cut Yarn.
• FLO – Front loops only.
• BLO – Back loops only.
• T – Turn.

-CONSTRUCTION NOTES-
- Do not join the yarn at the end of rounds unless stated to do so, just keep going in a spiral (if
you struggle with the stitch count use a stitch marker at the beginning of rounds.)
- Numbers written inside {} state the amount of stitches at the end of round.
- Pattern written inside () should be repeated the amount of times stated.
- When decreasing use the invisible decrease method when possible. Instructions can be found

-METHOD-

Feather– make with chosen colour.


- CH3 counts as DC.
1. CH14, SC into the 2nd CH from hook and the next 5 chains, CH10, 2DC into the 4th CH from hook,
DC3, DC3TOG, TRC into top of first 6 stitches (the stem), working into remaining unworked
chains, DC3TOG, DC3, 3DC into the last ST, CH3, T

All rows from here on are MADE in the BLO – Back loops only of every ST.
2. 2DC into the 1st ST, DC3, DC3TOG, FPTRC into treble from previous row, DC3TOG, DC3, 3DC into
the last ST, CH3, T
3-10. 2DC into the 1st ST, DC3, DC3TOG, FPTRC into treble from 2 rows below, DC3TOG, DC3, 3DC
into the last ST, CH3, T
11. DC into the 1st ST, DC3, DC3TOG, FPTRC into treble from 2 rows below, DC3TOG, DC3, 2DC into
the last ST, CH3, T
12. DC into the 1st ST, DC2, DC3TOG, FPTRC into treble from 2 rows below, DC3TOG, DC2, 2DC into
the last ST, CH3, T
13. DC into the 1st ST, DC1, DC3TOG, FPTRC into treble from 2 rows below, DC3TOG, DC1, 2DC into
the last ST, CH3, T
14. DC into the 1st ST, DC3TOG, FPTRC into treble from 2 rows below, DC3TOG, 2DC into the last ST,
CH3, T
15. SK 1st ST, DC2TOG, FPTRC into treble from 2 rows below, DC2TOG, DC into the last ST, CH3, T
16. DC2TOG stop decreasing when there are 3 loops on the hook, FPDTRC into treble from 2 rows
below stop decreasing when there are 4 loops on the hook, DC3TOG stop decreasing when
there are 7 loops on the hook, Yarn over and pull through all 7 loops.
