A36 Properties
Based on https://www.theworldmaterial.com/q235-steel/ “Q” is the first letter of Chinese spelling of “Qu Fu Dian”,
which means Yield Point and “235” refers to the minimum yield strength 235 MPa tested with steel diameter ≤ 16mm.
This materials in comparative to A36 but not equivalent since there is an ASTM standard closer to “Q235B” which is the
“ASTM 283 D” in terms of Mechanical Properties (See Picture Below).
