Guidelines for Project Submission

(LAW136 Student Centric Activities-II LTP 008 Credit 1)


Note- 1. Students are required to prepare individual reports on any socio legal issue of
their choice. (Guidelines are mentioned below.)
2. ETP viva will be scheduled after 17 November, 2020 in which final report (one hard
copy) have to brought by all students respectively. (the schedule for same will be shared
through UMS)
3. Topics chosen in the respective sections by the students should not overlap.
4. Empirical research techniques like case studies/questionnaire/interviews should be
given priority along with the traditional doctrinal methods of research.
5. By 10 September,2020 Class Representatives of the respective sections are required to
share the complete report of the topics chosen by the students of their sections at email
id: neeru.18499@lpu.co.in and the format to be followed will be:

6. Any clarification regarding the same will be handled by Asst.Professor Neeru Mittal
(uid 18499), Mb-9465022140.
7. The selected topics should not be copied from previous year topics of
LAW135/Assignment topics.

Guidelines are as under-

1 The Page Limit for the Project Write up is 15-16 pages.


2 It should be typed in A4 sheet.
3 Submission must be made in English language only.
4 It should be typed in Times New Roman, font size 12, 1.5 line spacing.
5 The footnotes should be in Times New Roman, font size 10, single line spacing.
6 Footnoting should be in accordance with The Indian Law Institute System (ILI) of
Citation. Please refer www.ili.ac.in for further details regarding footnotes.
7 The Write up should broadly be divided into following parts

i. Title of the project, Identification of Problem (Socio-legal)


ii. Statement of problem, Objective of study/Project)
iii. Legislative response
iv. Judicial outlook
v. Conclusion and Suggestions

8 The students are advised to prepare a PPT for viva voce.


9. No plagiarism will be applicable. (But interested students can submit the
report with minimum 25% plagiarism and the same file in future will be considered for the
publication free of cost and for getting the plagiarism checked file can be sent at
neeru.18499@lpu.co.in before due date so that needful if required can be guided.
10. Last date for the submission of the project is 1 November,2020.
11. And CR’s of the respective sections will submit by email complied reports in one mail
at neeru.18499@lpu.co.in. by 2 November,2020.

Evaluation of LAW136( ETP of 100 marks) will be on the basis of below


mentioned parameters-
