ANALYSIS OF THE PHILIPPINE GROWTH RATE

The Philippines Growth Rate advanced 2.2 percent quarter on quarter in the three
months to December of 2019. The issues and controversies that the Philippines are
facing today, are employment often requires a lot of manual labour for insufficient
income to support even a small family.

Corruption, it is very known in the government of our country people who are in the
position would rather took advantage of what they have right now. Honestly speaking,
the President can only minimize it. Eradicating it would be impossible. The system itself
allows and enables government people to steal the people’s money; taxes. Corruption
erodes the trust we have in the public sector to act in our best interests. It also wastes
our taxes or rates that have been earmarked for important community projects meaning
we have to put up with poor quality services or infrastructures or we miss out altogether.
This simply means that every project of the government are somehow corruption in so
many ways. Next, the war on illegal drugs & criminality, the effects of the illegal drugs to
an individual will really be an impact because it will affect his/her mental and
psychological health, and people who are into illegal drugs are people who have
different mind-set to people who are normal, and by that, people who are engaging
illegal drugs would have a high possibility that they are not employed and here will
affect the life of every individual and will affect the whole economy of the country, this
simply means if the country has a huge amount of people who are under the poverty
line would have a low economic growth rate. There are also an environmental issues
that the Philippines are facing, pollution, illegal mining and lodging, deforestation,
dynamite fishing, landslides, coastal erosion, wildlife extinction, global warming and
climate change. This is the crucial part of the government should face, because people
nowadays are not disciplined.

In the short term, fast tracking the implementation of recently approved game-changing
reforms would help to achieve inclusive growth.
