Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of
time (4 weeks) of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications
or their candidacy may end.
Supervisory Position: No
Duties
The Mobile Patrol Driver serves as a member of the U.S. Embassy Local Guard
Force (LGF) under the direct supervision of the Guard Supervisor. Incumbent
operates under the direct supervision of the LGF Shift Supervisor. He/she serves
as a driver for the LGF Shift Supervisor while on mobile patrol or responding to
emergency situations. Incumbent is also responsible for transporting LGF relief
guards, RSO personnel, Local Security Office personnel, and other individuals as
directed by the RSO.

equivalent"
Evaluations:
SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to understand the security control panel and
to operate emergency alarms and the public address system. Ability to use
state-of-the-art security and radio communication equipment. Ability to use
Automated External Defibrillator. Ability to use fire extinguisher. Ability to
use personal protective equipment (i.e. PR-24, straight batons, pepper
spray, handcuffs, and flexi cuffs, etc.). Daily duties may involve extended
periods of walking and/or standing in a wide variety of weather
conditions. Possess local driver’s class III license. (This may be tested).
Other Information:
** This level of preference applies to all Foreign Service employees on LWOP and
CS with re-employment rights back to their agency or bureau.
