is about 3 years old but the brand of #BGT is about 9 years
old. I know this confused a lot of people. What's the
difference? Why change the name? Would people even
know who you are?

Different things can shape a brand.

Brand definition: purpose, values, promise

Brand Positioning statement: this can also be your Mission Statement noted in your
business plan

Brand identity: name, tone of voice, visual identity design (which includes the logo design,
color palette, typography, etc)

Advertising and Communications: TV, radio, magazines, outdoor ads, website, mobile


apps

Sponsoring and Partnerships

Product and packaging design: unboxing is an experience. Your customers care about
how their package arrives. Put effort here.

In-store/Online experience: it should be welcoming, warm and easy

Workspace Experience and Management Style: how many people do you know who
would not work at a place simply due to the culture it has branded itself to have?

Customer Service: this is a non-negotiable

Pricing Strategy: if I ask you to name three high-end brands, you most likely can without
thinking too hard. Pricing is a part of your brand. Decide your price point and market
accordingly.

Website: one way to get people who do not know you to trust you is an active, attractive
and updated website.

the perceived image of the product you sell, and branding
is the strategy to create that image.
