Future research in a different service segment could establish the
transferability of the model to other service-related segments.
Second, as data were collected from hotels in the U.S., it should be noted
that the results may be affected by cultural factors. Thus, the nature of
the data sample may be complicated to generalize across different
sectors and cultures.
Furthermore, the data in this study are mainly cross-sectional, while
may limit the assertions one can make about causality. Thus, it is
suggested that future research adopts a longitudinal design to collect
data across time.
