Deployment details

IT manager:
Setup the RAP on OV Cirrus leveraging its MAC address and serial number for identification (bar code scan via
OV Cirrus assistant and bulk import supported)
Setup the virtual machine that will host the VPN server (provided free of charge* by ALE)
Setup the VPN connection details including IP addresses on the VPN server

User will only have to power up and connect the RAP at home to its Internet connection
A minimum of 10 Mbps residential Internet connection is suggested for optimal performances

How to upgrade the firmware of the Access Point:

The IT manager triggers the update from OV Cirrus or OV2500

It works with OV Cirrus

When deploying in OV 2500 managed mode, the RAP will have to be registered in OVC device registration to
inform the OVE/RAP VPN details for RAP to connect to
