High Overbased Calcium Sulfonate

Application, product summary & benefit

OLOA® 10501 is a high overbased calcium sulfonate that is detergent and corrosion inhibitor additive with a
very good stability at high temperature. OLOA® 10501, provides base for neutralizing corrosive acids and its excellent
detergency prevents deposits in engines operating at high temperatures. OLOA® 10501 is also used as EP additive in
metalworking formulations for chip forming and chipless operations. OLOA® 10501 is ideally suited for applications for
metalworking fluids (either neat oil or water-miscible fluids) or slideway lubricants. It is required to check in the individual
formulation whether an additional neutralization process is needed.
