Reading Comprehension & Cultural Awareness

I wanted to grow my cultural awareness, vocabulary and reading comprehension by studying

true stories of people, many of them refugees, from throughout the world.  My mom helped me
to select a big variety of book to synthesize cultural differences into my knowledge base. I also
went beyond these book and selected readings myself. One I liked very much was I can only tell
you what my eyes see.
