Now I agree that talent is indeed important. D would used to say: When I see the
geniuses, I realize that whatever I do, I will never reach their level. I would
used to think: If you worked hard and in the right place, you would reach their
talent. You are just being indolent and lazy. After hearing the masterpiece song, I
would now think: D would never reach that state, no matter how much more effort he
puts in to improving himself. Effort is only important when you have the talent.
Effort can make up for your lack of talent, but to a certain extent. Talent is only
important if you put in the effort. Talent with effort can makes you a genius. So
find where you have talent, and put in effort into that place. You will achieve
something extraordinary.
