The article How Congress responded to Trump’s request to investigate Obama

administration is about Congress responded to Trump’s request to investigate further into
whether Obama wiretapped the president's phone. Trump said Obama wiretapped his phone
because people accused Trump of communicating with Russia. Members of the House
Intelligence Committee looked forward to “seeing the evidence”, and the White House provided
no evidence that President Trump’s claim was true. The Democratic leaders said that if Trump
falsely spread this kind of information, it is wrong. But if it’s true, he have broken the law when
he interacted with a foreign agent.

The question of the week is about the Church establishing the Spanish Inquisition. This
relates to the article because the authorities are both accusing without evidence. In the article, it
said, “Rep. Jim Himes, a Democrat from Connecticut who sits on the House Intelligence
Committee, tweeted at Spicer that he looks forward ‘to seeing your evidence,’ calling the
allegations a ‘mess.’” Clearly, there wasn’t evidence when Trump accused Obama of
wiretapping his phone. When the Church established the Spanish Inquisition, many were killed
without any concrete evidence and just from accusation. It can also be related to a lot of the
cases of authorities accusing people for no particular reason. For example, Jews were said to
have killed Christ but many people were there and wanted Jesus dead, not just the Jews and
Jewish leaders.

This article relates to me because almost everyone have been accused of doing
something they didn’t do, and I have too. It’s not wrong to question someone of doing something
but accusing them and saying the definitely done it is wrong. No one actually knows whether
Obama wiretapped President Trump’s phone, but one thing is for sure, he is making a
statement he has no evidence in. The Church killed many people that were thought to be “fake
Christians”, and some of them might actually be fake, but a lot of people were innocent and
killed just because of accusations others made about that person. Making a statement without
evidence might lead to disastrous results, so it would be the best to avoid these statements.
