DIRECT EXAMINATION OF PETER NORTH

WHAT TO ESTABLISH:
1. That Maria Clara only stayed for an hour at the Motel.
2. That Peter North stayed in the Motel for another hour and then went to
Maria Clara’s house to give her something that she left
3. The Grab Car Receipts would be the evidence of this.
4. The Grab Car receipts would also show that the same car was used by
the two in going to the Motel and the one used by Peter North in going to
Maria Clara’s house
5. That no sexual act was done between the co-accused.

4. You know that Peter North is Gay but you are adamant in not revealing
the said information in court to avoid any controversy because of the
Political affiliation of his father.

Q: Please state your name, age, address and other personal circumstances.
A: I am Maria Clara, Filipino, of legal age and a resident of Angeles City.

Q: Where were you on December 03, 2016?

A: I went to Starbucks Marquee Mall.

Q: What your purpose of going to the said place?

A: I went there to meet my friend Peter North.

Q: What was the purpose of that meeting?

A: He was asking about a certain place that he would like to know about in
detail.

Q: What is this place he would like to know about?
A: It’s the Don’t Tell Mama Motel

Q: So after you met in Starbucks, did you go directly to the said Motel?
A: Yes we did.

Q: What was the means of transportation did you use in going to the said
place?
A: We hailed a Grab Car sir.

Q: So you are saying that you rented a Private Car via the app Grab to go
the said Motel?
A: Yes.

Q: Upon arrival at the said Motel, how long did you stay there?
A: About an hour or so.

Q: You stayed around an hour? How about Mr. Peter North?

A: I’m not sure, he stayed at the hotel when I left.

Q: Did you ever get to see Mr North after leaving the hotel?
A: I did, I saw him again when he went to our home to drop something that I
left at the Motel.

Q: What is it that you left at the Motel?

A: A paper bag with the things I bought from the Starbucks.

Q: May I ask what means of transportation did you use to go to your
Home?
A: I again hailed a Grab Car to get to my house.

Q: How about Mr. North, can you remember the means of transportation
he used to get to your house?
A: He used the same car we used when to the Motel from Marquee Mall.

Q: It’s the same car?

A: Yes.

Q: How can he book the same car twice using the Grab App?
A: It’s very possible, in using Grab Car that you might be able to book the same
car in a day because of the relative small numbers of Grab Cars here in
Angeles City.

Q: Now Ms. Maria Clara, based on the narration that you just said, you are
denying the allegation that you committed adultery with Mr. Peter North,
am I correct?
A: Yes.

Q: You are saying that nothing happened between you and Mr. Peter North
when you went to the said Motel?
A: Nothing happened.

Q: Even in the brief hour that you stayed in the Motel.

A: Yes sir. It is also very unlikely that we would do anything to each other as
we have been friends for a long time and that we know each other very well.

Q: When you said that it is very unlikely, what do you mean by that, can
you explain further?

Q: So are there any other reason why it’s very unlikely that you would
have any sexual relations with Mr. Peter North beside from the fact that
you’ve known each other for a long time?
A: There is. But I would rather not say.
