Competency standard is a huge platform to expand engineering skills, knowledge, values, and
capabilities to demonstrate the engineering capabilities appropriately. Every Australian

This entire process is divided into two different sections. These are
Part A:

fourteen major areas or crucial units. Among all these, there are three different core units.
These core units are mainly used to complete engineering practices. Among all these eleven
defines as the elective units of the entire process. Two units are used in a suitable manner to
select engineer candidates (registration authority.org.nz, 2019).
Elective units
E1A defines as Engineering Business Management
E1B is used to describe the Engineering Project Management
E2 denotes Engineering Operations
E3 defines all components, system or materials
E4A is mainly used to denote Environmental management process
E4B plays the most crucial role to identify the reporting and investigation process.
E5 is used to provide general information about the commercialization, development and
research process.
E6 is used to provide information about the estimating process and valuable information
about the resources.
E7 provides valuable information about technology development and the entire changing
process.
E8 is necessary to describe information about the promotion and technical selling process.
E9 provides all necessary information about the Engineering education system
Core
C1 is used to provide information about engineering practices
C2 is used to describe valuable information about the designing and engineering planning
process.
C3 is capable of providing information about the self-management process (think-asia.org,
2016).
All these elements play a crucial role to provide knowledge about all these mentioned
elements. However, these elements are described as defining activities.
Part B:
Every occupation has different categories. It is necessary to get valuable information about all
those factors.
● Professional engineers
All professional engineers are mainly responsible for solving different types of critical
issues. They generally play a crucial role to solve different types of problems.
● Technologists
All technologists have specific knowledge about different valuable actors. They are
manly specialists in different practical and theoretical working activities.
● Engineering associates
These people mainly provide attention to solve different types of practical problems.
These people also provide special attention to the "code of practice" (Pusca and
Northwood, 2018). They also provide valuable information about unfamiliar activities
in the workplace.
This system mainly initiates with the invitation process. These types of assessment
occupation mainly reflect the engineer's qualification. All candidates demonstrate the stage 1
