PART I: GENERAL CONDITIONS OF CONTRACT

The Conditions of Contract, Part I: General Conditions shall be those forming Part I of the
“Conditions of Contract for Works of Civil Engineering Construction,” fourth edition
1987, reprinted in 1992 with further amendments, prepared by the Fédération Internationale
des Ingénieurs-Conseils (FIDIC). These Conditions are subject to the variations and
additions set out in Part II hereof entitled “Conditions of Particular Application.”
