Beerbal and Co. is a Chartered Accountant firm, providing wide
range of services which includes Accounting, Financial Reporting,
Advisory, Taxation, Software Implementations and Corporate
compliance etc. Founder of the firm is Mr. Beerbal Mal.
The firm has the history of over five years of successful operations
since 2014 with very few clients but Beerbal and Co. through its
utmost dedication and commitment towards providing quality service to its client. Consequently, our
clients not only turned into satisfied patrons but also advocates the firm which accelerated BEERBAL
& Co. growth. We believe that this growth was made possible by the firm's culture, which instils a
commitment to the principle tenets upon which this profession was built value, relationships and

At Beerbal and Co. we have maintained a proper mix of thirty five individuals who bring diverse culture
and values and fits with the overall aim of the firm to be result-oriented in challenging and fast-paced
environments. We are well organized and flexible, self-motivated while following honesty, integrity
and making upright relationships amongst ourselves as well as with our respected clients. Our strength

Founder Of The Firm is Mr. Beerbal Mal who is qualified Chartered Accountant, member PIPFA and
M.A Economics with over 15 years of experience within the domain of accounts and finance. He is also
a member of Karachi Tax Bar Association, Karachi Chamber Of Commerce, licensed Income tax
Practitioner and licensed e intermediary as SECP regulations. He has also attended Directors training
program as conducted by ICAP. He completed his mandatory training prescribed for Chartered
Accountants from Deloitte. Yousuf Adil. Apart from his regular responsibilities, he has also worked as
Trainer of Deloitte audit methodology at Deloitte Pakistan and was also part of IFRS expert team.
During his association with Deloitte, he has accumulated varied experience as per the requirements
of every industry. Also worked internationally in Qatar, Bahrian and Saudia Arabia at different clients
while in Deloitte and otherwise.
The firm is growing at a larger pace under the leadership of Mr. Beerbal Mal, who have inculcated the
ability in our team to see both the business and technical side of the situation, also advocates a
problem-solving attitude towards client combined with open and constructive communication so that
our firm not only provide service but also add worth at every stage of serving clients.

Mr. Syed Muhammad jawwad is a member ICMAP serving Tax and Corporate clients of different
commerce and planes for more than a decade He is renowned Income tax practitioner and a member
of Karachi tax bar association. Under his leadership, the Firm has a prominent taxation services
practice and provides a complete and comprehensive range of services in taxation, both for direct as
well as indirect taxation covering clients ranging from small and newly incorporated businesses to high
net worth individuals and companies seeking tax advices and tax planning.
Miss Kaukab Kamal is ca affiliate from Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and CPA. She
brings with her 7 years’ experience of auditing and assurance from Deloitte Pakistan. She also worked
in industry and involved in implementing the tax and compliance department at various clients.
Mr Faizan Baig is the founder of Conductivity, an initiative to bring sanity to career decision in youth,
and to contribute to the talent Management at national level.
He brings with him an experience of more than Twelve years in Human Resource Management of
services, trading and manufacturing concerns. He has been working leading professional services Firm
in Pakistan as a Manager for Human Capital Consulting & International Mobility, as well as recruitment
and Organization Development Specialist in one of the leading conglomerates in KSA, consisting of
Trading, manufacturing and Engineering companies.
He holds MBA in HRM from SZABIST, and BBA (Hons.) in Marketing Management from BIMCS, Karachi.
Muhammad Abdullah
Abdullah was instrumental in developing IT Audit section of Deloitte’s Pakistan office in 2005. He
managed review of General Computer Controls (GCC) and Business Cycle Controls (BCC) of various
clients in Oil & Gas, Energy, Financial, FMCG etc. He has also managed various IT related engagements
including IT security reviews, BCP/ DRP etc. Abdullah worked in internal audit department of Pakistan
Stock Exchange (PSX) where he later become the Head of Internal Audit looking after both IT and
operational of audits of PSX. He also has extensive experience of management of Software
Development Project.

a) External Audit
We initiate through understanding our client’s businesses and its requirements. The firm's audit
philosophy is based on focusing to those areas that have the most potential for causing material
misstatements i.e. Risk Based Audit Approach. The firm is conducting mandatory audit of Companies
as required by the Companies Act 2017. These audits are conducted in accordance with International
Standards on auditing (ISAs) as issued by International Federation Of Accountants. We make sure that
our audit is effective and efficient with proper planning of nature, timing and extent of audit
procedures. For this purpose, we use modern audit techniques and adequate professional compliance
with quality control standards to carry out our audit.
We believe the statutory audit should be viewed as an opportunity to develop, not an overhead.
We also ensure to provide High End quality service to client, Therefore, in every major audit additional
independent reviewer is included to review and recommend any changes in audit approach if needed.
In addition, our audits are carried out by implementing the audit manual of the Institute of Chartered
Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP).
Separate from audit report we also report to our clients accounting and internal control issues
identified during audit in the form of Letter to Board of Directors or Management Letter stating
recommendation for dealing with key aspects of the issues. Such reports assist client management in
establishing effective and proactive internal control environment.

Our scope of internal auditing within an organization is broad and involve efficacy of operations, the
reliability of financial reporting, deterring and investigating fraud, safeguarding assets, and
compliance with laws and regulations.

However, we also tailor our strategic approach to help our clients identify and understand specific

Our staff includes professionals who are experienced in performing audits of Banks, DFIs and Leasing
Companies engaged in providing loans and other credit facilities to their customers. We are well
versed with Prudential Regulation requirements with regards to Audited Financial Statements of
prospective borrower which needs to be submitted along with LAF (Loan Application Form) to
bank/DFI. We are very well versed of credit risk associated with these facilities. Considering this we
design our audit procedures to assess and evaluate borrower's ability to continue as going concern
and honour its obligation in accordance with agreed terms towards bank. Apart from this we ensure
specific disclosures are included in financial statements with regards to lien/mortgage/pledge etc. on
borrower's assets and contingent liabilities which can assist Credit Division of bank to calculate
exposure as per guidelines of the Prudential Regulation of the Banks.
Our audit methodology focuses efforts on those areas of financial statements which represent the
greatest risk. This risk-based audit approach enables us to do effective audit and does not result in
excessive audit work thus efficiency is also achieved. Thus, we are able to manage both lenders and

3. Taxation
To become a compliant business and law-abiding citizen of any country, payment of various types of
taxes for smooth running of the economy, is essential. In the recent past, it is observed that there are
so much improvement in tax laws which have led to the need to keep the staff of any organization
informed in order to avoid cumbersome monitoring requirements and penalties on our clients. We

a) Income tax

10. Clienteles
Most of our clients are privately owned companies, partnerships, or sole proprietorships. We have
particular expertise in all issues faced by small and medium-sized enterprises. We also cater for non-
profit organizations, such as Foundations, Non-Governmental Organizations and others.
However, some of our clients are not in business. We advise them on personal tax affairs and rental
income accounts to help them achieve their personal financial goals.
