Daily Inspection: Check that only the green ‘power on’ indicator is lit. Inspect for any fault indication. Notify any faults to a competent electrician.

Weekly Test: Check indicators.

Enter the access code shown on the keyfob provided. Press the ‘Silence’ button, then press the ‘Reset’ button.Verify that all all the indicators momentarily show,
and the internal buzzer operates.
Check a call point (no fault conditions allowed).
Enter the access code, then press ‘1’, the Test in Progress LED should be lit.The panel is now in a one-shot auto reset mode.Test the alarm by operating a call
point using one of the plastic test keys.Alternatively operate a sensor to test the alarm (take care to clear any residual smoke from any sensor). The zonal sounders
will operate for a short period, after which the panel will automatically reset and return to normal state. If a call point or sensor is not operated within a short
period, the panel automatically reverts back to normal state and the test is abandoned. Use a different call point or sensor each test so that all call points and
sensors can be tested in rotation. A building plan detailing the call point/sensor locations is recommended. Check that all call points and sensors operate, and
verify that none are obstructed in any way.

QuarterlyTest:
Check all previous log book entries and verify any remedial action has been taken. Carry out the weekly test. Visually examine the battery and its connections, by
loosening the screws located behind the drop down door, and lifting off the front panel. Isolate the mains supply and check the battery is capable of supplying the zonal
sounders by operating a call point
AnnualTest: As Weekly Test and Quarterly Test described above. Additionally test all sensors and call points and check for correct operation.
Every 2-3 Years:
Replace or return the smoke detectors for cleaning to ensure correct operation and freedom from false alarms. Special equipment is required for cleaning smoke
detectors. Consult technical helpline if in doubt.
Every 5 Years:
Replace sealed lead acid battery.
Cleaning:
When cleaning the panel, use a moist cloth. Do not use solvents or harsh abrasives.

ALL SMOKE SENSORS SHOULD BE CHECKED FOR CORRECT OPERATION EVERY YEAR.
