1) Primary data research

It is a methodology used by researchers to collect data privately rather than collecting data
from existing researches.
Primary data is usually done for in depth analysis of a problem.
Ex: Research undertaken for decline in sale of a hair shampoo in recent months.
It can be done by preparing a questionnaire and taking a survey from the sample
population.

Secondary Market Research is a kind of research that uses the existing data either present
from previous research of a company or used it from online sources like google.
Ex: Research on launch of a new product in hair shampoo
It can be done by using old products sales/ old products.

3) Characteristics Of a good sample:


It should be representative of whole group or a population
Good sample should not have a systemic Bias
The confidence on sample should be higher than 95 percent
Sample design should fit in the budget
It should not have any sampling error

Semantic scale
