A ‘High-level Design’ is the first step in realising a service proposition. It
defines the key experience touch-points and operational enablers that will be required of a service. High-level Designs ensure that the business has full visibility on direction and scope of a proposition. These designs also generate stakeholder buy-in and support for further development. Often used in conjunction with a Service Blueprint a high-level design takes a concept towards delivery by specifying the key interactions and enablers for a new or improved service.
