• No word limits
• A clear referencing style is required
o Be careful about the usage of direct/ indirect quotes
o Be consistent with the referencing style. You are free to choose whatever style
you would like to use, such as APA, MLA, etc.
• The report should include 2 parts:
o Research and literature review
o Proposed Business model

Criteria for the first part

• Show in-depth analysis in the report
o Details is the most crucial thing
o You can achieve in-depth analysis in a variety of ways
§ Readings: historical resources from newspaper
§ Interview: quote what the interviewees said in the report
§ Questionnaire: put the format you design in the report
• Literature review
o A session on literature review is required
o Your research question needs to be closely related to the literature review to
address in the review “what question do you want to address and why?”
• Methodology
o Give a profound explanation on your choice of methodology.
For example, if you choose to do a survey while the information can also be
collected by conducting interview, you need to state in the report “why doing
a survey rather than an interview?”
o If you do interviews or other methodology focusing on a particular group of
people (for example, 10 male university students), justify your choice of
subjects as well. “Why do you choose male rather than female?” “Why do you
choose university students?”

Criteria for the second part

o Incorporate knowledge you learned from GCIN courses (especially the 4 core
courses)
o A creative, cool business model will be a bonus!
