Introduction to the Snagit COM Server

Overview
Snagit can be accessed as a COM server. This means you can access Snagit’s capture
functionality from any programming language that supports COM. Developers using Visual
Basic, Visual C/C++, Visual Studio.Net, Delphi, C++ Builder can now embed and control Snagit
directly in their applications.

The Snagit COM server should already be installed. It is installed when you run the normal
Snagit setup program. The Snagit COM server is implemented as an out-of-process COM server.
The Snagit setup program will register the Snagit COM server after you install Snagit.

To get started using the Snagit COM server, you will need the documentation and example
program files. These items are provided in a separate download. Click here to download the files
