The ST-RS232C devices are designed for internal to facility point of use protection RS232C protocol circuits via
DB-25 connection. These devices are intended for installation on cables leading to computers and other related
equipment for the protection of attached equipment from moderate levels of surge activity. The ST-RS232C is
designed to meet the specifications of the RS232C protocol, and may be utilized in other applications with similar
protocols or system requirements.

GENERAL
Description: Series wired transient voltage surge suppressor with Optimal Response Network™ circuitry
for protection of RS232C protocol circuits. This device offers protection for both the
transmitting and receiving data circuits.
Application: Designed for use on RS232C protocol circuits to protect all data transmission system
equipment from damaging transients generated within the facility.
Warranty: 25 Years Unlimited Free Replacement

Enclosure: Plastic - Gray
Mounting: Mounting is accomplished via the DB-25 male and female connectors.
Connection Method: DB-25 connectors, one male and one female, input and output are interchangeable.
