Working and Description of Components:

 Transformer
Electrical power transformer is a static device which transforms electrical
energy from one circuit to another without any direct electrical connection
and with the help of mutual induction between two windings. It transforms
power from one circuit to another without changing its frequency but may be
in different voltage level.

 Transistor
A transistor is a device that regulates current or voltage flow and acts as a
switch or gate for electronic signals. Transistors consist of three layers of a
semiconductor material, each capable of carrying a current.

 Diodes
The key function of an ideal diode is to control the direction of current-flow.
Current passing through a diode can only go in one direction, called the
forward direction. Current trying to flow the reverse direction is blocked.
They’re like the one-way valve of electronics..

 Resistor
A resistor is used to reduce the flow of electricity in an electric circuit.
Resistors come in fixed or variable types. A fixed resistor cannot be changed as
it is set at a specific value, whereas a variable resistor can manage flows at and
below a specific level.

 Capacitor
A capacitor is a passive two-terminal electrical component that stores
potential energy in an electric field. The effect of a capacitor is known as
capacitance. While some capacitance exists between any two electrical
conductors in proximity in a circuit, a capacitor is a component designed to
add capacitance to a circuit.

 Inductor
An inductor is a passive electronic component that stores energy in the form of a magnetic
field. In its simplest form, an inductor consists of a wire loop or coil. The inductance is directly
proportional to the number of turns in the coil. Inductance also depends on the radius of the
coil and on the type of material around which the coil is wound.
