David Copperfield

David Copperfield is a book written by Charles Dickens and it is about the life of a young
boy called David. In the book, there are many segments that people should find useful in
everyday life and that is a characteristic that Charles Dickens compliments in all of his books.
Since the book was written a long time ago, we can see the life of people in the 19th century.

In the book, David Copperfield is telling a story about his youth from the perspective of a
young boy. He lives with his mother and Pegotty, who is a house nurse in Copperfield family.
Young David had no chance to meet his father since he died years before David was born. In
this book, Dickens uses lots of throwback scenes such as explaining and looking back to
harder days of David's life. When David was sent to school in Salem, he found out very soon
that his mother died and that devastated him. He tried to get away from his sadness for a few
years. He went to London to reunite with his good friend Tommy Traddles and he was better
at that brief moment. In the end, David moved to Switzerland and proposed his long-beloved
Agnes.

I would recommend this book because we can learn a lot from David's story. The book itself
was very well organised and I can guarantee you that you will enjoy reading.
