A few months ago, my friends and I met in a mall. I had my backpack that contained my
laptop, cell phone and a notebook. I was a little scared because I saw in the news the
crimes that happen every day, like mugging, robbing and others. That day, I had little
money, If I had more money I would go in a taxi. Whatever, I arrived at the mall and I
found them quickly, we were walking around 2 hours, after that, we sat on the benches
in the middle of the mall, after a few minutes, I realized that my backpack wasn’t next
to me. Someone had stolen my things, I was scared because I had important documents
on my backpack. For example, on the cell phone I had the password for my bank
account, If I had been more careful, I would have canceled my bank account, but I
forgot. Also my friends was scared, they told me that if I made a complaint at the police
station, I could recover my things. I told what happened to one of the security officers
and he said that he had not seen anything. If the security office paid more attention to
people, the criminals wouldn't steal easily. Or maybe it was my fault, if I hadn’t gone to
meeting, the criminal would never have robbed my things. I had my friends with me. If
I had been alone, I wouldn't have controlled my emotions. I couldn't file a complaint
because it was too late and my parents told me that not worry and they would buy me
another laptop.

If I hadn't had this event, I wouldn't have more take care with my things now. I really
appreciate my parents. If my parents didn't help me, I wouldn't have bought the new
laptop.
