REFUTATION OF MAULANA ILYAS

GHUMMAN’S OBJECTION ON
TAFSEER NOORUL IRFAN
(Objection No. 4)

RESPONDING OBJECTIONS ON NOORUL IRFAN

A prominent Pakistani scholar from deoband sect has written a book named “Firqa
Barelviat Pak O Hind Ka Teheqeeqi Jaiza”. In this book he has written uncountable
lies and wrong narrations against Imam Ahmad Raza Radiallahu Anhu. In Shaa Allah
in this small paper, I would like to expose only one objection with supporting
documents for better understanding and your further research.

Objection:

Ilyas Ghumman sahab is presenting some incomplete passages from “Tafseer Noorul
Irfan” related to Chapter: Al Ara’af Verse No. 20 and concluded himself that, in this
tafaseer Allama Mufti Ahmed Yarkhan Nayeemi Rahmathullah Alaihi is
comparing/targeting/uniting Shaitaan with prophets. (Maaz’allah). Kindly look in to
the objection made by Ilyas Ghumman sahab and we will be exposing his fraudulent
in detail In Shaa Allah.

Answer:

In this booklet, I am not going to give you lot of information and references because
the subject matter is very clear and no confusion among all scholars. The tafaseer
written in Noorul Irfan has no mistakes and confusion anymore. Similar explanation
is available in various books. I will be attaching here 3 such tafaseer which are
recommended by Deobandis as well so that objection of Ilyas Ghumman can be
through back on his face in the same way he objected.

The claim of Ilyas Ghumman sahab is baseless here. It is the basic ideology of
deobandis to misguide the common laymen by presenting tampered passages from
original book and then making explanation according to their own ways. We have
seen several such tampering in his book earlier also.

Tampering of Passage by Ilyas Ghumman:

For your better understanding, kindly refer the enlarge portion of the passage
presented by Ilyas Ghumman sahab. Only BLUE underlined portion is mentioned by
Ilyas ghumman in his objection whereas the RED underlined portion is not included
in his objection. Due to this the entire passage seems to give different meaning
comparing to the actual text. This is called tampering and fraudulent of deobandis to
fool the common Sunnis.

The below image shows the full passage with clear description. Now anyone can
easily notice and witness the fraudulent of Ilyas Ghumman sahab in tampering the
actual passages of Noorul Irfan. If you read the complete passage then the objection
made by Ghumman sahab seems null and void. Hence we can move forward.

It is known fact that, Satan was succeeded in misleading Hazrath Adam Alaihissalam
& Bibi Hawa (May allah be pleased with them). Every mufassir has written the same.
For more clarity let me produce the English translation of Noorul Irfan prior to
proceed further.

After that, we will be presenting about 3 different tafaseer translated by deobandis


and you can find the same subject matter very clearly. Ilyas Ghumman sahab is
always particular in targeting the scholars associated with alahazrat without having
any sense. He is making hundreds of objections for the same points which exists in
his own scholar books. He is silent on his side and always making sound against
works of alahazrat scholars. Anyhow, I request Ilyas ghumman sahab to note the
wordings of Tafseer Haqqani. I hope if he is a man of justice, then he will write a book
against the author of tafaseer haqqani. Because rude words are being used in
tafaseer haqqani in the same point.

how this deobandi author is describing the narration with harsh words. Will
Ghumman sahab write a book against this tafaseer?

Baraheen-E-Qatiyah

Satan more knowledgeable than RasulAllah (Maaz’allah).

“The end result: One should ponder that by looking at the state of shaytan and the
angel of death, and proving [similar] knowledge that encompasses the earth to the
Pride of the world ‫ ﷺ‬without any documentary evidence and merely by wrong
analogy – if this is not polytheism, then which part of belief is this?

Because such extensive [knowledge] for the angel of death and shaytan is proved
from absolute evidence [nusus-e-qati'yah]. Where is any such absolute evidence to
prove the extensiveness of the knowledge of the Pride of the world ‫ ﷺ‬which refutes all
absolute documents in order to prove one polytheistic belief?”

Comparing the knowledge of RasulAllah ‫ﷺ‬with lowly beings

“And then, if it is correct to attribute the knowledge of the unseen to be possessed by


the Prophet‫ ﷺ‬as Zayd says, then it remains to be asked, which one he refers to. Is it
only a ‘part’ of it (ba’ad) or ‘complete’; if he refers to ‘part’, then what is
extraordinary about the Prophet in possessing it? Such knowledge of the unseen is
also possessed by all and sundry; even infants, lunatics and all the animals and
quadrupeds. And if he refers to complete knowledge of the unseen such that nothing is
left out, then this is rejected by transmitted and textual evidence.”

In this entire book Sarfarz Khan Safdar has justified the blasphemies of his elder
scholars. Note the screen shot below in which he is defending the statements of
Baraheen-e-qatia about the knowledge of satan.

Conclusion:

1) Objection is baseless.
2) Ilyas Ghumman Sahab tampered the original passage and presented after
removing some text in between. This is the reason for misleading.
3) After reading entire passage it was found that all narrations are very accurate
and does not contain any issues.
4) Fraudulent of Ilyas Ghumman sahab is exposed now. He can see similar
contents in other tafaseer authenticated by deobandis.
5) There is no relation of Satan and prophets here in Tafseer Noorul Irfan as
objected by Ilyas Ghumman. In other side, deobandi books contains such
statements and we are requesting Ilyas Ghumman sahab to start his shouting
on the deobandi books presented here as a minimum.
6) May Allah give hidayath to Ghumman Sahab to understand and recognize the
truth.
