CONTRACT # 3 - CONSTRUCTION OF FOUNDATION FOR 5 TANKS

Sir:

With reference to our ocular inspection to the ongoing construction of Tank Foundation, please
take note of the following instructions:

1. Adjust exposed length of anchor bolts at ringwall foundation #16.

2. Apply form oil to formworks installed at ringwall foundation #16 and seal the space in
between concreted footing and the formworks.
3. Replace the installed spliced rebars at ringwall foundation #17 with one vertical rebar of
same length alternately.
4. The lap splice less than 40-bar diameters should be rectify by bundling one meter length
additional.
5. Install additional 12pcs extra top bars 16mmØx 7mtrs at footing foundation #17.
6. Install additional concrete spacer and maintain the 75mm space in between the rebars
and formworks surface.
7. Install additional chair bar for at least 1.5mtrs each way to provide proper space between
top and bottom bars at footing foundation #17.
8. Check and adjust the radius of East and West side of ringwall foundation #17 to maintain
the circumference as required in the plan.
9. Rectify the formworks to maintain the circumference as per plan to avoid the occurrence
of over run in the concrete mix.
10. Secured the tightness of tie wire on rebar connections.
