 What was the last film you saw? What was it about?
 Have you ever been embarrassed? What happened?

You have one minute to think about what you will say. Here are some ideas to help you.

STUDENT A
Your friend is taking an exam soon, but they are very nervous. Think of how you can help them and
give them some advice about:
 how to be less nervous before the exam
 what to do in the exam if they become nervous
 ways of relaxing
 how they can do their best

STUDENT B
You are taking an exam soon and you are very worried. Your friend will give you some advice, but
There are some things they don’t know and you might need to tell them at some point in the
conversation:
 you’ve never taken an exam before
 you suffer from claustrophobia
 you are frightened you won’t know the answers
 if you fail then you can’t get the job you’ve always wanted
