AutoProof version:
Proof-program to plot the high resolutuion tif-files produces by a RIP-software.
AutoCIP version:
Program to produce ppf-files. This files fulfils the CIP3 standard.
See also the CIP3 specification version 3.0 from the Fraunhofer Institute for Computer Graphics.

Full Version:
Contains all AutoCIP and AutoProof features. The name of the full version is also AutCIP.
Operation system:
Windows NT 4.0 or later systems.
Plotter:
(Concerns AutoProof )
The program can address all HP/GL capable plotters. The AutoCIP program communicates with the
plotter by using the UNC - Networkpath.
RIPs:
The AutoCIP program can import tif-files of the following RIP-Systems:
TIFF-files:
The program imports the tif-files, produced by the upper RIPs. Any common compression method
could be used.
For example: CCITT4, Packbits, ...
No special resolution of the tif-files is needed. The quality of the proof can vary in dependence of the
tif resolution.

Chapter 3: Installation
Program files:
The software can be easily installed by copying the AutoCIP program files from the program CD or
disc
to the desired location on the harddrive.
Additionaly a license key has to be imported. This key is delivered by the basysPrint company
and activates the modules of the software.
Plotter:
After starting the software, select a plotter in the File menu of the AutoCIP software.
Hot-Folders:
The AutoCIP program can use any numbers of Input-Folder. From this the files are moved
to Output-Folder.
Color installation:
All colors has to be specified in a parameter txt-file. This file contains a CMYK discription for the
color. This is needed for AutoProof to ploot Spotcolors.
Plate formats :
Parameters like "PlateExtent" or "PlateTransfer" can be discribed in config files. This parameters
will then
be added to the produced ppf-file.
