Over the A7b9 I’m using the Phrygian dominant (A Bb C# D E F G) which is the 5th mode
of D harmonic minor. After a few notes of a Dmaj7 arpeggio, we then move to B Phrygian
dominant (B C D# E F# G A) over the B7b9 chord.
