Translation Passage – Example 2

Translation to English:
India on the dark night of 6th-Sept-1965 attacked Pakistan without any warning. This was a dastardly
act. Reason behind the conflict was the Indian Illegal occupation of Kashmir. Kashmiris after getting
annoyed by the stubbornness of India raised standard of revolt. India in 1947 promised the UNO that
they will act in accordance to the rules stated by the UNO with full honesty while dealing with the
Kashmiris, Freedom of speech and right to self-determination will be given to them. But with passage of
time India starting making excuses one after another and initially backed out from their promises. When
Pathans from Tribal area assisted Kashmiris and when India had to face quashing defeat from them, they
were flabbergasted and then they started blaming Pakistan. They were misguided that they can easily
cross the canal at night and attack Lahore. But they witness a crushing defeat. Pakistan Army with
bravery and courage showed their abilities which will be written in gold book of history and Indian Army
will remember it for long. This War lasted till 17 days when Indian evil-intentions failed.

Humans whereas assistance from others weakens them. To wait for
someone's help with an open arm is not what Humans should do. This
Habit should be eradicated from personality since it decrepit the
mental and judgmental capabilities.

foolish and useless event. Author believes that these conversations should be avoided by the
parents.

According to the author parents play a vital role in character building. If life at home is lifeless
and without a joy then children might become dull and stupid. Since Home plays an important
role in development and training of a child.

in order to foster their mind.
