In this economic era, In order to attain development in commercial and industrial division, there
should be a sound banking system to support not only the economy but also the society. The
Banking sector is always considered one of the most fundamental sectors for the economy to be
able to function. This report focuses on the multinational banking of Habib Bank Limited. We have
discussed the historical evolution of the HBL till today from its birth, the path, process, and
strategies that the bank followed to become internationalized as it is today. The number of countries
HBL is operating their business all over the world , the contribution of each market to their overall
business. We have briefly discussed about the functions and services provided by HBL to their
customers across the world , the availability of products in each market. Pakistan, Bangladesh,
Srilanka, Mauritius, Maldives are selected as the top five markets of the bank. A consolidated
financial and operating performance analysis of the bank at the global level and also in each of the
top five markets it operates is calculated to evaluate the contribution of HBL.
